I Told My Brother to Have a Sleep Apnea Test

I advised my brother to undergo a sleep apnea test. Why? I noticed something unusual when I stayed in my brother’s house for a two-week vacation. My brother lives alone. I just visit him every time I have a long vacation from school. We sleep in the same room. Before we doze off, we usually have a chat. He talks about his work while I update him about school and our parents. He is busy in his career that he rarely visits our parents.

Yes, bedtime is a bonding time for us. In that two week stay, I noticed something different in my brother. My brother is not the type of person who snores but in that two-week stay he snored a lot. And he had this loud snoring which awakens me every night. I was planning to just ignore it but then I recalled a lecture we had on sleep apnea. I don’t have the qualifications to confirm my suspicion so that is why I told my brother about his snoring. I suggested that he undergo a confirmatory test so that we will know whether my suspicion was right.
